At Pretty Please Teethers, our goal is to ensure a sustainable future where we are able to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to come. Our products are multi-functional and built to last through the years, allowing your little ones to make their own impact by reusing the products that they already love.
Making an Impact
To make an impact for the future generations, we have to start by minimizing our waste. Being an online shop, we use environmentally friendly and recycled materials to ship your orders to minimize the waste of plastic. Both our mailers and boxes are 100% biodegradable, meaning you can toss them in your compost or garden to decompose.
Our Materials
Product: We aren't your typical shop. We have created a focus on our core colors that will transition with your little one through every season.
Silicone: PPT uses silicone, which is a highly durable but recyclable material. Silicone is a non-toxic polymer made from silica, or sand. It is long-lasting and withstands the heat and cold more sufficiently than plastic. When burned, silicone reverts back into its harmless ingredients - unlike plastic materials that release harmful toxins when burned.
Beechwood: PPT uses Natural Beechwood, which is smooth to the touch. Beechwood has natural antimicrobial properties and is therefore naturally antibacterial - making it great for teething. Beechwood is uniquely sustainable, meaning that it can be grown in renewable and managed forests. This means that more wood can be grown to replace the trees that have been cut down and used.
Recycled Plastic: This year PPT has launched our Mod Feeders, our first ever recycled plastic and silicone teething product. So how did something like a shampoo bottle end up being used to create your little ones favorite feeder? What once would have been trash thrown in the ocean is now a reliable and durable material that can provide significant value beyond just its first use. Recycled plastic is eco-friendly and reusable over time without compromising the environment.
Where We Are Going
Pretty Please Teethers goals for 2022 are to move forward with using sustainable, renewable, recyclable, and biodegradable resources in our shop.
We believe that it is our responsibility to work towards a more sustainable future, and we are committed to implementing practices that will ensure a sustainable world for generations. While we still have a ways to go, we are thrilled to be moving forward in the right direction.
